Privacy Policy
Last updated: 03/11/2026
Let’s skip the corporate fluff — this page is about what happens with your personal information when you interact with Setup Marks. What we collect, what we do with it, who sees it, and how you can control it.
This policy covers everything you do on setupmarks.com — browsing, buying, contacting us, signing up for emails. Something doesn’t make sense? Just ask at contact@setupmarks.com.
Policy Updates
When laws change or we adjust our processes, we update this page and change the date at the top. For major changes, we may email you too.
What We Collect
From you directly — when you order, fill out a form, or contact support: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and basic payment confirmation (last four digits only — we never see your full card number).
Automatically — your browser shares data when you visit: IP address, device and browser info, pages visited, time spent, and referring URLs. Collected through cookies — more on that below.
From third parties — PayPal sends transaction details for order processing. Analytics partners provide aggregated, anonymized traffic data. Social platforms may share limited profile info based on your settings.
How We Use It
Fulfilling orders — your details go to our print-on-demand production partner to make and ship your t-shirt, hoodie, or tank top. They only get what’s needed to do the job.
Communication — order confirmations, shipping updates, tracking numbers, support replies, and important policy changes.
Improving the site — analyzing traffic patterns using anonymized data. We look at trends, not individuals.
Fraud prevention — screening orders for suspicious activity. Details in our Payment Policy.
Legal compliance — tax, regulatory, and legal obligations. Only what’s required.
Marketing (opt-in only) — promotional emails only if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you’re off.
Cookies
Functional — shopping cart, checkout, login. Site breaks without these.
Analytics — Google Analytics tracks overall traffic patterns. Aggregated data, not personal.
Advertising — Google Ads and Meta cookies measure ad performance. Placed by those platforms, not us.
Manage cookies through your browser settings. Block functional ones and the site won’t work right. Opt out of ad cookies at ads.google.com/settings or optout.aboutads.info.
Who Sees Your Data
We don’t sell your personal information. But these partners need certain data to do their part:
Print-on-demand partner — shipping info to produce and deliver your order. Stripe and PayPal — payment processing directly at checkout. Your card data never touches our servers. USPS, UPS, FedEx — delivery address and contact info for shipping and tracking. Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta — anonymized browsing data for traffic analysis and ad measurement. Legal authorities — only when required by law, court order, or to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
All partners are expected to handle data responsibly under applicable privacy laws.
How Long We Keep It
Order records — 7 years (tax and accounting requirements). Email subscriptions — until you unsubscribe. Cookie data — most expire within 12 to 24 months. Support conversations — as long as needed for service history.
Want it deleted sooner? Email us. We’ll handle it unless legally required to keep it.
Security
SSL encryption site-wide. PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe and PayPal — sensitive financial data never sits on our servers. Access limited to those who genuinely need it. Regular reviews of data handling practices.
No system is bulletproof. We do everything reasonable, but can’t guarantee absolute security. Suspect unauthorized access? Contact us immediately.
Your Rights
Know — what data we have and how it’s used. Access — request a copy. Correct — fix wrong or outdated info. Delete — request erasure (with legal exceptions). Opt out — stop data sharing with ad platforms. See our Do Not Sell My Personal Information page. Equal treatment — exercising rights never results in worse service.
Email contact@setupmarks.com to use any right. We verify identity first — that protects you.
California Residents — CCPA
Our business is in El Segundo, California, so CCPA/CPRA applies directly. You can know what we collect, request deletion, opt out of data sharing, and do so without discrimination. File requests at contact@setupmarks.com or our Do Not Sell My Personal Information page. Response within 45 days.
Children
Our site is not for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect data from minors. Parent thinks their child shared info? Email us and we’ll delete it.
Third-Party Links
We link to external sites sometimes. Once you leave, our policy stops applying. Check their policies before sharing info.
International Visitors
Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Using our site means you agree to that.
